Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid Montana Special Educator Certification
- Proven experience or a strong interest in working with K-12 students
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt instructional materials and lesson plans to meet the needs of students with diverse abilities
- Manage and implement IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and related service staff
- Provide direct instruction across a range of grade levels and settings, as designated in the caseload
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for success
- Engage in positive communication with parents, colleagues, and support teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education regulations
This assignment starts August 18, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027.
