Special Education Teacher in Media, PA

Step into a rewarding role supporting students in a dynamic school environment as a Special Education Teacher. We are seeking engaged, driven professionals for four full-time contract openings—serving elementary, middle, or high school levels. These roles start August 24, 2026, and run through June 10, 2027. You will provide direct, onsite instruction, shaping learning experiences for students in alignment with current state and district standards.

Available positions:

• Elementary School (8:30AM–4PM)
• Middle School (8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM, schedule to be determined)
• Two High School positions (7:15AM–2:45PM)

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit applicants)
• Active Special Education Teacher certification/licensure suitable for assigned caseload
• Previous experience in a school setting, ideally in an urban environment
• Mastery of the relevant subject matter, instructional strategies, and resource use
• Robust classroom and behavioral management abilities
• Comfortable adapting to district practices and location needs
• Reliable transportation to the worksite
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Schedule flexibility within posted onsite hours
