What we’re looking for:
• Active Special Education Teacher certification in Pennsylvania
• Experience or interest in severe caseloads across K-12 grade levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and educational planning
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse and severe needs
• Providing direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications aligned to each student's goals
• Tracking and reporting student progress using data-driven methods
• Collaborating with families, support staff, and related service providers
• Maintaining compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Creating a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere every day
