Are you a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact? LHH is partnering with a growing organization in Indianapolis (46218) that is seeking a skilled accounting professional to support its AP operations. This role offers the chance to join a stable and collaborative team while playing a key role in day-to-day financial processes. You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in the implementation of a new Epicor Kinetic ERP system, making this an excellent fit for someone who enjoys process improvement, learning new technology, and contributing to a company's continued growth and success.

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
Responsibilities
- Process approximately 400 vendor invoices per month
- Receive invoices via email, print and organize documentation
- Match invoices to purchase orders and packing slips using the three-way matching process
- Code invoices accurately to the general ledger
- Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper approvals
- Assist with weekly check runs and payment processing
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
- Support month-end close activities as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely invoice processing
- Assist with the transition to Epicor Kinetic ERP and related invoice automation modules
- 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong knowledge of general ledger coding
- Experience with three-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receiving documentation)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- This is a fully onsite opportunity based in Indianapolis (46218), with regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The first day will begin after 8:30 AM to allow time for onboarding. The company offers flexibility when needed and maintains a professional business casual work environment.
