Duration: 26/27 School year August 3, 2026- May 28, 2027

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher for a part-time (.5 FTE) position in Phoenix, AZ. This is an in-person role supporting students at the high school level, with a flexible schedule currently being finalized.

Assignment Details

• Caseload: K-4
• Support additional Special Education students and classrooms during remaining hours
• Specially Designed Instruction
• Case Management
• IEP Development and Compliance
• Collaboration and Consultation

Schedule

• Approx. 0.5 FTE (part-time)
• Flexibility is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with SPED staff, general education teachers, and support teams
• Support multiple classrooms and students as needed
• Track progress and maintain required documentation

Qualifications

• Active Arizona State Special Education License and Certification (required)
• Strong collaboration and adaptability skills

Additional Information

• In-person role only (no virtual option)
• Urgent need—interviews are being scheduled immediately

Pay

• $40-45/hour depending on credentials and experience
