\n Forklift Driver/Shipper Responsibilities:\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • Route units of finished sheets to the unitizer or transport in-process board loads to the converting department.
    • \n
  • Transport loads using powered conveyors, gravity conveyors, or forklift trucks.
    • \n
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely move materials throughout the facility.
    • \n
  • Insert Finished Goods Load Tags or In-Process Tags into loads as required.
    • \n
  • Operate the bander to unitize finished sheet units and some in-process loads.
    • \n
  • Inspect loads from the corrugator and remove defective sheets as needed.
    • \n
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of finished sheet storage areas and the corrugator area.
    • \n
  • Stack and store units according to production requirements.
    • \n
  • Load orders onto trailers as required.
    • \n

\n Requirements:\n

\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • 1+ year operating forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
    • \n
  • Experience with material handling, loading, warehouse operations, and production support preferred.
    • \n
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and production procedures.
    • \n
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform heavy lifting
    • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
    • \n
