Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher license
• Experience with severe caseloads in a school setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of and comfort with K-12 curriculum and interventions
• Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and student progress

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Create inclusive, engaging classroom environments that foster learning and independence
• Adapt instructional materials, strategies, and assessments for students with varying levels of need
• Track student growth, maintain thorough records, and efficiently manage compliance documentation
• Provide direct instruction and manage behavior interventions for students with severe disabilities
