Qualifications
• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with K-5th and/or 6-8th grade students
• Strong understanding of IEP implementation and special education law
• Ability to adapt and modify curriculum for multi-needs or behavioral support classrooms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet differing abilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and classroom teachers
• Provide guidance and structure in a multi-needs or BIP unit
• Track student progress and communicate updates to families and school teams
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
