Job Description
ProCare Therapy is currently partnering with multiple school districts throughout Illinois to fill immediate and upcoming K–12 openings for Special Education Teachers. These are full-time contract opportunities supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings.
We are seeking compassionate and dependable professionals who are passionate about supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs in structured classroom environments.

Program & Classroom Details
- K–12 school settings
- Opportunities in resource, inclusion, and self-contained classrooms
- Classroom sizes and caseloads vary by district
- Students supported based on individualized IEP needs
- Some classrooms include behavioral intervention and additional support services
- Collaborative environments with strong administrative and classroom support
Responsibilities
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially throughout the school day
- Assist with implementation of IEP goals and classroom accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Maintain a structured and positive learning environment
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support as needed
- Assist students with daily classroom routines and instructional activities
Qualifications
- Active LBS-1 and PEL certification required for Special Education Teacher positions
- Previous school-based or special education experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively with students across varying age groups and support needs
