Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license (State of Connecticut, or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience delivering respiratory care in acute or sub-acute settings
- Strong assessment and ventilator management skills
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt to evolving patient care plans and interdisciplinary teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and other respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and proper home-care techniques
- Document patient care activities accurately, following regulatory and facility standards
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team for care coordination
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
