Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available for certified special educators across elementary, middle, and high school levels in the vibrant Phoenix and Peoria, AZ areas. Positions Available:

  • Elementary (Grades 5–6, Connections Program)
  • Middle School (Structured Self-Contained & Resource/ELA)
  • High School (Resource)
  • Transition/Pathways Self-Contained Classroom (Ages 18–22, life skills focus, max caseload 15)
  • All Grades (Exceptional Learning/Pathways)

All assignments are full-time (40 hours/week), with daily instructional schedules ranging from 6.5–6.75 hours, leaving time for planning, IEP meetings, reporting, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications:

  • Current Special Education Teaching Certificate (as required by the AZ Department of Education)
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working in special education settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to supporting diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with a range of abilities
  • Develop and implement IEPs, including progress monitoring and regular reporting
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school functions
  • Create a safe, supporting environment that encourages student independence and growth
