ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Anderson, IN. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students in a self-contained classroom for students with mild disabilities while working alongside a collaborative educational team focused on student growth and success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 35 Hours per Week

  • Contract Dates: August 3, 2026 – June 7, 2027

Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Special Education Teaching License required

  • Previous experience working in a self-contained special education classroom preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

  • Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Indiana state standards

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

  • Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development

  • Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Assignment Details:

  • Self-Contained Classroom for Students with Mild Disabilities

  • Current Caseload: 12 Students

  • 2026–2027 School Year
