Job Description:

Assist with the structural design and documentation of new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects.

Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for a variety of building types and structural systems.

Supervised structural analysis and design using computer software and hand calculations.

Participate in site visits, structural assessments, and construction administration activities.

Collaborate directly with architects, contractors, owners, and other design professionals throughout project development.

Contribute to projects utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and cold-formed steel structural systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Master's degree is a plus.

1-3 years of professional structural engineering experience.

EIT certification or ability to obtain shortly after hire preferred.

Experience preparing construction documents and structural calculations.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, including preparation of plans, details, and incorporation of project markups.

Experience with steel and concrete design; experience with wood, masonry, or cold-formed steel design is a plus.

Familiarity with mixed-use developments, renovation projects, and existing structures is a plus.

Familiarity with structural analysis and drafting software such as RISA-3D, Tekla Tedds, RAM, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Willingness to engage in a variety of projects, take on new challenges, and learn new skills.

Desire to approach design from a holistic and multidisciplinary mindset.

Eligible to work in the United States.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
