Opportunity Overview
- Position Type: Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time roles.
- The Lacks Employee Health Facility, managed by our organization, serves patients and their families enrolled in the Lacks Medical Plan.
- Lacks Enterprises is a collaborative partner dedicated to ensuring their employees receive excellent care while empowering physicians with the autonomy and resources necessary for success.
- Conveniently located near multiple work sites for patients:
- The Lacks Employee Health Facility is situated at nd St SE, Kentwood, MI 49512.
- The physician will focus entirely on providing care at the newly updated Lacks Employee Health Facility, which boasts spacious, modern patient rooms.
- This clinic operates as a concierge practice, offering 30-minute patient appointments that include comprehensive primary care, wellness visits, chronic disease management, low-cost acute care visits, and occupational health services.
- On-site medication availability and lab draws for patients.
- The current clinical team consists of 1 physician, 1 advanced practice professional, 5 support staff (a mix of MAs and BOC), and a dedicated practice leader.
- The physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, building strong, trusting relationships while managing a shared patient panel of around 1,500 individuals across providers.
- The clinic operates from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday shifts.
- No on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications
- Relevant experience is required.
- Physicians must be board certified in their respective clinical specialty or achieve board certification within the timeline set by the relevant specialty board.
- Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
- DEA license.
- BLS certification (must be maintained) and ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained).
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering direct patient care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participating in teaching and mentoring activities.
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting community health initiatives.
