Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Vernon Rockville, Connecticut

Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state licensure as required

• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications are highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic respiratory care to patients across age groups
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, ventilator management, and airway care
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatment plans as indicated
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas sampling and pulmonary function tests
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care when appropriate
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
