Elementary Special Education Teacher – 2026/2027 School Year

Responsibilities
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
Provide small-group and individualized instruction in core academic subjects
Modify lessons and instructional materials to support diverse learning styles
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom interventions
Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Active Colorado Special Education Teacher License/Certificate required

7:45 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday – Thursday
