Contract Labor & Employment Attorney

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite - 5 Days per Week)

LHH is seeking a Texas-licensed Labor & Employment Attorney for a short-term contract assignment with a respected law firm in Houston. This role is expected to last approximately 30-60 days and offers the opportunity to support a variety of employment law and litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with labor and employment law matters and related litigation.
  • Support employment counseling, workplace investigations, and employment disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Participate in case strategy, discovery, and litigation support.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Work on both employment and commercial litigation matters.
Qualifications
  • Active Texas Bar license required.
  • 4-5 years of Labor & Employment law experience.
  • Experience handling commercial litigation matters.
  • State and federal court experience required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Houston five days per week.
  • Available to begin immediately.
Assignment Details
  • Duration: 30-60 days
  • Location: Houston, TX (100% onsite)
  • Pay Rate: $100/hour
