Job Description

Job Description

We are dedicated to saving lives while empowering individuals to achieve their healthiest selves.

Registered Dietitian

Location: Sandy Springs, Georgia

Our organization operates a residential treatment program in Sandy Springs, GA, specifically designed for adolescents dealing with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At our facility, we assist adolescents and their families on their journey to complete recovery. We equip each young person with the tools needed to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. Our approach includes empathy, education, and support for families, recognizing them as essential partners in the recovery journey. We guide each adolescent in replacing disordered eating habits with healthy skills and a profound understanding of how to live authentically.

We are currently looking for a Registered Dietitian to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential within both the leadership and clinical teams, requiring regular collaboration across various disciplines to ensure the highest quality of client care.

Our nutrition programming is built on foundational principles that emphasize health, liberation from disordered eating behaviors, and a developmentally appropriate journey towards self-trust and intuitive eating. With this strong base, our clients progress from repairing their relationship with food to embracing a fuller, recovered life.

Our HAES-informed nutritional care includes:
  • Understanding that healthy, recovered individuals come in diverse shapes and sizes.
  • Believing that all bodies deserve nourishment and the experience of satiety.
  • Focusing on behavior rather than weight in our philosophies.
  • Recognizing that attempts to lose weight are counterproductive to recovery from all eating disorders.
  • Creating kitchens and food environments that are open and welcoming, resembling a home-like atmosphere.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
