Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Previous experience working with alternative high school or diverse student populations
  • Proficiency in designing and delivering customized instructional strategies
  • Comfortable working with small groups and providing individualized support
  • Expertise in case management, IEP development and conducting meetings
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specially designed instruction directly to students needing additional support
  • Provide both small group and one-on-one teaching tailored to each learner’s needs
  • Manage caseload responsibilities, including ongoing documentation, IEP writing, and progress monitoring
