Location: Statesville, North Carolina
Schedule: Full-Time | 7 On / 7 Off | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Join a Collaborative Hospitalist Team

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a growing hospitalist program as a Nocturnist in Statesville, North Carolina.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy practicing inpatient medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment while maintaining an outstanding work-life balance with a predictable 7-on/7-off schedule.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time nocturnist schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

  • Consistent 7 days on / 7 days off rotation

  • Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support from 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM

  • Average of 8 admissions per shift

  • Cross-cover responsibilities for hospitalized patients

  • Manage rapid response events and code situations

  • No procedures required

  • Open ICU model

  • Hospital average daily census of approximately 120 patients

  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality patient care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

  • Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted North Carolina medical license

  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced inpatient setting
