Role: Combo Welder (Pipe and Structural)

Location: Vandenberg, CA

Employment Type: Long term W2 Contract

Per Diem: $150/day
\n
Hours: 50/week
\n
Shift: Day Shift
\n
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Weld carbon and stainless steel process piping
\n - Perform GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding as required
\n - Support structural steel welding when needed
\n - Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
\n - Perform fit-up and fabrication
\n - Maintain weld quality to applicable codes
\n - Support launch infrastructure construction projects
\n - Inspect work for quality before turnover
\n
\n
Requirements:
\n
\n - 2+ years of pipe welding experience (5+ preferred)
\n - Strong GTAW (TIG) pipe welding experience
\n - Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel
\n - Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings
\n - Experience performing fit-up
\n - Ability to pass client weld qualifications
