Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid 461 TN SPED License required
- Demonstrated expertise teaching students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student IEP goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience managing K-5 caseloads preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored instruction to K-5 students with varying exceptionalities
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Employ data-driven decision-making to assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Engage with families and caregivers to promote student growth and achievement
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
