You’ll enjoy a structured schedule, working 37.5 hours each week across five days, for the full academic term from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid 461 TN SPED License required
  • Demonstrated expertise teaching students with diverse learning needs
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to individual student IEP goals
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience managing K-5 caseloads preferred
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored instruction to K-5 students with varying exceptionalities
  • Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Employ data-driven decision-making to assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Engage with families and caregivers to promote student growth and achievement
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
