The Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care sector is rapidly growing, offering excellent opportunities for work-life balance, with no on-call duties or weekend shifts!
We are looking for a Full-Time provider (30-40 hours weekly) for our Pocahontas Center situated in Marlinton, WV. This role is open to either a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant, and we encourage new graduate nurse practitioners to apply. Please note that we are unable to accommodate new graduate physician assistants for this position.
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $125,000, along with an incentive compensation bonus program that has no cap.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Advanced Practice Provider will report directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. This role involves collaboration with the Center Leadership Team to meet specific center goals and priorities, as well as working alongside the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient-specific medical care.
The Advanced Practice Provider will deliver primary and urgent care services to residents of the nursing center, working in conjunction with other medical professionals. This position is integral to achieving our mission of enhancing lives through high-quality healthcare and compassionate service.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a license as a registered nurse. They should be certified as a Nurse Practitioner, having completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing, focusing on Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialties. Other concentrations may be considered based on experience and organizational needs. For Physician Assistants, graduation from an ARC-PA accredited program is required, along with passing the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to obtain the PAC designation. State licensure and NCCPA certification are mandatory.
We prefer candidates with at least two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations.
In states where practice regulations permit, the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) must hold an unrestricted professional license and DEA registration for each state of practice. Similarly, the Physician Assistant (PA) must also have an unrestricted professional license and DEA registration for their practice states.

Note: Restrictions may apply based on collective bargaining agreements, state laws, and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service. To qualify for full-time benefits, a minimum of 30 hours per week is required.
