Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Job Description
Location: North Providence, RI
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Setting: Non-Public Special Education School (No Travel Required)
We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a school-based special education program serving students ages 5-22 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
This is a full-time, onsite position with a stable schedule and excellent work-life balance. There are no evening hours, weekends, insurance billing responsibilities, or productivity requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Provide behavioral support, consultation, and oversight for assigned classrooms.
Collect, analyze, and monitor behavior data to guide interventions.
Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff in ABA best practices.
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, social workers, and vocational specialists.
Ensure consistent implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies and ABA principles.
Active BCBA Certification OR
Active BCaBA Certification OR
Eligible to sit for the BCBA examination within 6 months
Eligible for or currently possess Rhode Island Department of Health Licensure
