Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM (50+ hours/week)
Job OverviewWe are seeking motivated Cable Technicians with at least 1 year of structured cabling experience to support a large-scale project in the Omaha area. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills, work in a data center environment, and gain experience on a high-profile infrastructure project.
The ideal candidate will have experience with copper and/or fiber installations, cable terminations, testing, labeling, and cable management.
Responsibilities- Install, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cabling
- Install cable trays and pathways
- Terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot CAT5, CAT6, and fiber cabling
- Perform patching, rack and stack, and network equipment installations
- Support fiber rough-in, final dressing, and documentation activities
- Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, and specifications
- Utilize copper and fiber testing equipment to verify cable performance
- Maintain job site organization, material management, and housekeeping
- Follow all customer security and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete project milestones
- Minimum 1 year of cabling experience

Experience with:
- CAT5/CAT6 cabling
- Cable installation and cable dressing
- Termination and testing
- Patch panels and punch-downs
- Structured cabling systems
- Copper cabling installations
- Cable tray installation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces when necessary
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Fiber optic installation and testing experience
- Fusion splicing experience
- OTDR testing experience
- OSP and ISP cabling experience
- Data center experience
- Data center setting
- Active construction and telecommunications environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
