Job Description
Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Advanced Gastroenterologist to become a part of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division as a faculty member. We seek a candidate who is dedicated to clinical excellence and has a passion for contributing to both medical education and research.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care.
- Instruct and supervise residents and fellows.
- Perform endoscopic procedures.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives.
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship.
- Completion of an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship focusing on ERCP and EUS.
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
- Eligibility to obtain a medical license in California.
Our organization boasts a well-established, ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program. Faculty appointments will be based on the qualifications and accomplishments of the applicant. The Medical Education Program operates within the Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a 700-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, featuring a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.
