In this position, you will be part of a nurturing team that emphasizes the significance of keeping mothers and their infants together, encouraging skin-to-skin contact, and fostering a safe, supportive environment. With 10 spacious private LDRP rooms and a strong emphasis on collaboration, you will have the chance to profoundly impact families during one of their most cherished moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Circulate during C-sections and assist with antepartum care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including lactation consultants and maternity educators.
• Utilize proficient IV skills and operate the OBIX Fetal Heart Monitoring System.
• Float to NICU for feeders and growers as necessary.
• Engage in floor-specific orientation and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are mandatory; FHM certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
• Strong skills in C-sections and IV administration are essential.
• Willingness to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday.
