Our facilities operate as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that offer:
- Long-term care: Support for residents needing ongoing skilled assistance and compassionate daily care.
- Short-term rehabilitation: Services for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.

Position SummaryThe Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) delivers direct rehabilitation services in occupational therapy to patients based on physician referrals, under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT), while adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
Qualifications and Requirements- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT)
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience in a post-acute care or similar environment
- Engagement in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
- Ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and support departments
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities
- Implementation and interpretation of departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Competency in all relevant areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information
- Understanding and adherence to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
- Demonstration of integrity and professionalism by following the organization’s Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training
- Effective use of therapy software
- Exemplary customer service skills and a positive demeanor towards patients
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language
