Job Opportunity: Radiologist

Our organization is in search of an enthusiastic Radiologist dedicated to delivering outstanding care to Veterans. This full-time role allows you to collaborate with a skilled team of Radiologists while making a meaningful impact in a compassionate, mission-focused setting.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • Salary: Ranges from $350,000 to $400,000 annually
  • Location: Jackson, Mississippi
  • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP): Eligible for up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified individuals
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with minimal on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of image interpretations, image-guided procedures, and patient care services (excluding Interventional Radiology and Mammography)
  • Engage in quality assurance and performance enhancement initiatives
  • Oversee technical quality standards
  • Educate staff and trainees
  • Participate in committee assignments
  • Fulfill additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal, Body, or Neuroradiology is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to interpret various imaging modalities, including:
    • Musculoskeletal MRI
    • Lung cancer screening chest CT (Lung-RADS)
    • Liver/HCC screening MRI (LI-RADS)
    • Prostate MRI (PI-RADS)
    • Renal mass MRI
    • Rectal MRI
    • Thyroid ultrasound (TI-RADS)
  • Strong dedication to serving Veterans and enhancing healthcare outcomes
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
  • Capability to handle clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited medical or osteopathic institution
  • Current, unrestricted medical or surgical license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
