Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.
• Utilize the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established nursing protocols and policies.
• Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized patient care plans.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives within the department or unit.
• Offer clinical expertise and support to other departments as needed.
• Apply critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and enhance the patient experience, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Current Wisconsin or Multi-state RN license.
• CPR and BLS certification are mandatory.

Working Conditions

This position involves working night shifts in a dynamic psychiatric unit, where teamwork and communication are essential for providing effective patient care.
