Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing multidisciplinary team serving K-12 students throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
Key ResponsibilitiesTherapy ServicesProvide occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support educational participation and student success.
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and reevaluations.
Administer, score, and interpret standardized and non-standardized assessments.
Analyze students' functional performance within educational settings.
Prepare detailed evaluation reports with educationally relevant recommendations.
Present findings during multidisciplinary team meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, families, and related service providers.
Recommend classroom accommodations, environmental modifications, and intervention strategies.
Educate parents and caregivers regarding student progress and functional development.
Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning discussions.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, district, and organizational regulations.
Maintain current licensure, required clearances, and professional certifications.
Adhere to the ethical standards of the occupational therapy profession.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License.
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Reliable transportation.
Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience.
Experience conducting educational occupational therapy evaluations.
Knowledge of Pennsylvania Special Education regulations, IDEA, and IEP processes.
