Become an integral part of a team that serves over 4,000 cardiology patients each year. Our facility is renowned for its advanced procedures, including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, alongside the management of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. Our unit has received accolades for its exemplary performance and dedication to achieving optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Employ clinical judgment to assess and address patient responses to current or potential health issues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to cardiovascular patients.
- Engage in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
- Adhere to strict attendance policies to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
- Valid RN license in Michigan.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU environment.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation.
- Willingness to float to related units as needed.
- Preferred experience in Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, managing ventilators, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
- Completion of skills checklist within one year of application.
