Sterile Processing Technician

Sterling Medical is currently looking for Sterile Processing Technicians To perform sterile processing services For the 633rd Medical Group at Langley AFB In Hampton, VA Hours: hours vary by location. Two locations: Dental clinic-7:00am-4:00pm Surgery Suite-6:30am-3:00pm Monday - Friday Great compensation! PTO, paid federal holidays, 401k, (match) and other benefits Both Dental and Surgical Techs must be able to perform the following duties: · Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment · Assemble instruments for the following services: General, Orthopedics, Cardiovacular ,Cardiothoracic, Neurology, Opthamology, Urology, Otolaryngology, Plastic and Oral/Dental. · Prepare case carts and maintain sterile storage area. · Operate instrumentation tracking system Washer-disinfector, ultrasonic, cart washer, steam sterrad and V Pro Max sterilizers. · Have a strong knowledge of Medical Terminology, Surgical Procedures, and the reprocessing of Reusable Medical Equipment. · Completion of Training Programs.
