We offer comprehensive care for men, women, and adolescents at all recovery stages, from 24-hour inpatient monitoring to various residential, transitional, and outpatient programs.

We are currently looking for a full-time Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing team. The work schedule consists of three days a week, including two shifts on the floor and one administrative shift.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• Recruit, hire, and train qualified nursing staff.
• Oversee and assess all aspects of medication management within the facility.
• Engage with clients as necessary to ensure optimal care and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with relevant external treatment professionals in accordance with established processes.
• Maintain admission and discharge protocols to ensure continuity of care regarding nursing and medical issues.
• Manage the nursing schedule, including vacation requests, sick leave, and staffing needs.
• Facilitate performance evaluations for direct reports and implement merit increases as approved.
• Ensure accurate and detailed communication regarding all current clients.
• Document quality nursing notes for each patient during every shift.
• Organize laboratory work as per provider orders.
• Complete admission nursing assessments and care plans in line with program policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
• Provide ongoing training for nursing staff as needed.
• Ensure effective communication among nursing staff and other disciplines.

Additional Duties:

• Verify that provider orders for admission are present upon client entry into the program.
• Organize and document required monthly nursing meetings and other necessary gatherings.
• Oversee the maintenance of nursing-related spaces and equipment.
• Ensure proper nursing documentation for each client, including daily notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Review and document employee performance at 90 days post-hire, annually, and as needed.
• Manage performance improvement and disciplinary actions as necessary, documenting as required.
• Attend and present nursing-related information in weekly staffing meetings.
• Coordinate with providers to maintain necessary communication and documentation regarding client care.
• Oversee the facility’s infection control and prevention program.
• Ensure designated on-call nursing staff are always available.
• Respond to facility-related calls and cover shifts when all other staffing options have been exhausted.
• Participate in monthly Nursing Leadership meetings and additional meetings as required.
• Assist with insurance matters as directed by the Vice President of Nursing Operations.
• Ensure all admission requirements are completed per organizational policy.
• Oversee the proper destruction or return of medications in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Maintain adequate inventory of nursing supplies within the operational budget.
• Support additional program needs as requested by leadership.
• Seek opportunities for personal growth to enhance the quality of client care.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state regulatory standards as well as company policies.
• In emergencies, be prepared to remain onsite as part of the emergency response team.
• Identify and refer any legal or ethical issues in client care to the Clinical Director or Director of Compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution and current RN licensure.

• A minimum of two years of nursing experience.

• Preferred experience in managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital setting focused on eating disorders.

• Strong communication, patient relations, and time management skills; safety awareness; and the ability to collaborate effectively within a treatment team.
