Urologist

Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to become part of our well-established practice at a critical access hospital, catering to a large rural population with a pressing demand for urological care.

• Practice Environment: Inpatient, outpatient, operating room, and emergency consultations
• Patient Load: 8-15+ patients daily, with 3-8 procedures each week
• Operating Room Schedule: 2 days per week
• On-Call Requirements: 10 days per month
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Surgical Procedures:

• Biopsies and procedures for kidney stones
• Interventions guided by diagnostic imaging
• Cancer treatment procedures

Office-Based Services:

• Urodynamics testing
• Office biopsies and vasectomies
• Lupron injections and bladder scans
• General urological consultations

Hospital Services:

• Consultations in the emergency department
• Inpatient consultations and management
• Collaborative care with various specialties

• Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside skilled nurse practitioners, registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, and administrative staff

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology
• Experience in urogynecology is preferred but not mandatory
