Location: Lafayette, GA,
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a well-established primary care practice in Georgia. This role provides comprehensive primary care services to both pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate is confident practicing independently and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health assessments.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate therapies in accordance with state regulations.
Refer patients to specialists or additional healthcare services as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Educate patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain evidence-based standards of care.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, HRSA, and organizational policies.
Participate in employee education, community outreach, and required training programs.
Provide guidance and oversight to clinical support staff when appropriate.
Full-time, Monday through Friday
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Shared on-call rotation: 1 week every 6 weeks
Average of 3-5 after-hours calls per day during call week
Approximately 15-20 patients per day
Average of 2-3 patients per hour
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
Active Georgia Family Nurse Practitioner license.
Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Ability to function independently as the primary provider in an outpatient setting.
Previous experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care.
Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations.
