Family Medicine Residency Faculty
Job Description
We are currently looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to become a part of our Residency Faculty. Candidates should have prior experience in teaching within a Residency or Medical Student environment. The selected faculty member will be responsible for delivering clinical services and supervising residents in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and obstetrics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Supervise and mentor residents during their training.
- Engage in obstetric care as part of the residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
- Experience in teaching within a residency or medical education setting.
- Established in 1997.
- Comprises 7 full-time faculty members, including a Program Director with clinical responsibilities.
- Hosts 30 residents, including 6 in a Rural Track.
- Collaborates with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
- Accredited in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
- Offers an Integrated Medicine curriculum option.
- Handles approximately 5,000 inpatient visits annually.
- Manages around 14,000 outpatient visits each year.
- Conducts about 200 obstetric deliveries per year.
- Located at a Level Two Trauma Center.
