Job Opportunity: Gastroenterology Hospitalist

Our organization is seeking applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist position at a community-focused hospital located in Melrose Park, IL. This facility features two GI suites equipped with anesthesia capabilities.

Position Overview

The selected candidate will operate under a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist schedule. Advanced practice providers will support inpatient rounding within our 150-bed facility. Currently, we are also implementing a GI Olympus upgrade project.

This role offers the chance to thrive in a prominent Midwest academic medical center situated in a rapidly expanding community. While interventional skills such as EUS and ERCP are not mandatory, they are a plus.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Possession of an Illinois medical license at the time of appointment
• Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor

• Starting salary ranging from $350,000 to $700,000
