Our organization is in search of a Floating Director of Nursing to become part of our corporate clinical team, with the flexibility to travel across various facilities in Upstate New York.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise all nursing personnel within the facility
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee the recruitment and retention of nursing staff
• Ensure adequate nursing coverage and maintain staff skill levels
• Monitor nursing staff conduct
• Stay informed about incidents occurring within the facility
• Evaluate the health needs of each resident

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active RN license in New York State is mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in long-term care settings
• A minimum of 2 years in a Director of Nursing role
• Demonstrated strong leadership and supervisory abilities
