Locum Hospitalist opening in Traverse City, Michigan

Specialty: Hospitalist Will take IM or FM Coverage Needs: Need ASAP - Ongoing 7 on - 7 off 7a-7p Shifts: 8a-8p OR 8p-8a Setting: Inpatient acute-care hospital 442-bed regional referral center Level II trauma center Census: Approximately 300 total inpatients daily hospital-wide Procedures: Moderate SedationLumbar Puncture Lumbar Puncture Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation Paracentesis/Thoracentesis Ventilator Management including Assessing Readiness for and Administering Respiratory Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing need for Intubation Chest Tube Insertion Insertion of PICC Lines, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines either percutaneously or by cut down Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (radial and femoral) these two privileges may be the same Tracheostomy Care including Tube Change Management of Tension pneumothorax in Emergent Situation External pacing including adjusting temporary epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous pacemaker as necessary EMR: Cerner Board Certification: BC/BE Required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: Can fast track for ASAP start Requirements: Active MI state license or IMLC Active DEA in MI or willing to transfer ACLS
