In this outpatient setting, you will assist patients in their recovery from injuries and help them manage chronic conditions, all while enjoying the charm of a new location.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Oversee and guide discipline-specific therapy services.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment processes and expectations.
- Maintain professional documentation in line with regulatory and clinic standards.
- Engage in student programs as assigned and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Adhere to safety protocols and competency standards.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapy license in NH is required to begin the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy is essential.
- Skilled in documentation, goal setting, writing letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in electronic medical records.
- Capable of conducting thorough patient evaluations and creating measurable, functional treatment plans.
- Compliance with state Practice Act and commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing education.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring students in a clinical environment.
- Prior travel therapy or contract experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling programs and materials handling protocols is preferred.
- Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
