In the role of a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be essential in delivering compassionate care to mothers and their infants. Your responsibilities will include direct patient care as well as supervising other caregivers to ensure that the highest standards of care are upheld. This position demands a solid grasp of patient care services and the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Conduct thorough assessments and gather data focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive aspects
• Implement care plans while adhering to established protocols and policies
• Recognize and address patient educational needs and readiness
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records
• Effectively delegate and oversee patient care activities
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development
• Ensure adherence to safety and organizational guidelines
• Act as Charge Nurse when necessary, managing patient assignments and coordinating staff coverage
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting
• Current RN Licensure in Washington State
• HCP Level of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required within specified timeframes
