New England Neurological Associates (NENA) has partnered with Lowell General Hospital and our organization, and we are in search of an Epileptologist to become part of our team.

In this position, selected candidates will deliver community-focused healthcare while also having the chance to explore areas of interest in partnership with the broader academic and research community.
Department Overview:
- Integrated Healthcare: NENA consists of a collaborative team of 28 Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians, integrated within our health system, which includes over 700 affiliated doctors and a clinical partnership with a major medical center.
- Subspecialties: Our subspecialists cover areas such as epileptology, stroke, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, neuromuscular conditions, and migraine management.
- Collaboration: NENA provides care to over 70,000 patients across the Merrimack Valley, and through our partnership, we aim to enhance healthcare access, including plans for a neuro-immunology program and the establishment of a Memory Care Center.
Responsibilities:
As an Epileptologist, you will cater to the culturally diverse populations in the Greater Lowell and Southern New Hampshire regions.
- Community Setting: Deliver general neurology care to patients in the Nashua, NH, and Merrimack Valley areas. We welcome subspecialty interests, particularly in Epileptology and memory care.
- Patient Focus: With over 50 years of service, NENA stands as one of the largest multispecialty neuroscience practices in the region. Our primary goal is to ensure our patients' comfort, convenience, and enhancement of their quality of life in a friendly and efficient manner. Our mission and values, along with a strong customer service ethos, guide our daily actions.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide continuity of care for patients within a single practice. You will have the support of Nurse Practitioners and flexible scheduling that allows for documentation time during your workday. NENA aims to be the preferred choice for patients, a desirable practice for doctors, and a great workplace for employees.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call duties are shared among the NENA team, generally on a 1:5 rotation for Lowell General Hospital.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Physician (MD or DO) degree or its foreign equivalent, along with board certification in Rheumatology to be fully licensed and credentialed as an attending physician at Lowell General Hospital.
