The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at our organization is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Physiatrist to become part of our dedicated team. Our advanced regional medical center is situated in the scenic St. Joseph, MO. Practice Overview

This outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient population, addressing a wide range of needs from spine and musculoskeletal medicine to rehabilitation for post-stroke patients, amputees, and general rehabilitation. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a passion for ultrasound-guided procedures, electromyography (EMGs), general rehabilitation, and spasticity management. Our clinic regularly performs a respectable volume of procedures, including:

  • EMGs
  • Ultrasound-guided interventions
  • Neurotoxin injections
  • Joint injections
  • Trigger point injections
  • Tenotomies
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy
  • Capsaicin patches
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation structure that includes:

  • $300,000 starting base salary with a two-year guarantee
  • Potential for additional earnings based on RVU production
  • $50,000 signing bonus
  • Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment assistance
Practice Highlights

  • In May 2026, our outpatient clinic will move to a new, cutting-edge medical office building that integrates various services for a seamless patient experience, including primary care, specialty care, outpatient imaging, lab services, and retail pharmacies.

  • We are actively collaborating with a local university to establish a new collegiate sports program and a Sports Medicine Center of Excellence, which will also provide comprehensive therapy services.

  • Our multi-disciplinary practice offers numerous opportunities for expansion.

  • We are in the process of launching a virtual Spine Center, a collaborative initiative involving the PM&R, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management departments.

  • Our work environment is cooperative, energetic, friendly, and flexible, ensuring high satisfaction rates among patients, caregivers, and providers.

  • Join an experienced multi-disciplinary team that includes a Certified Athletic Trainer and a fully equipped on-site physical therapy suite with a Physical Therapist.

  • We handle approximately 12,000 patient encounters annually, with 95% being outpatient and 5% inpatient.

  • Consultation calls are only required when Advanced Practice Providers are unavailable, with no weekend or holiday obligations.
