Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA)

Position Summary

The PA will work collaboratively with the supervising physician to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities include both office-based patient care and hospital rounding, offering continuity of care from the clinic to the hospital.

  Collaborate with the supervising cardiologist to provide high-quality patient care.

  Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient cardiology office.

\n
• \n

  Perform hospital rounds, including follow-up evaluations and discharge planning.

\n
• \n

  Obtain patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.

\n
• \n

  Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

• \n

  Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.

\n
• \n

  Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary services.

• \n

  Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support practice growth.

Qualifications

\n
• \n

  Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

\n
• \n

  Current Pennsylvania PA license (or eligible for licensure).

\n
• \n

  NCCPA certification

\n
• \n

  DEA license (or ability to obtain).

\n
• \n

  Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

\n
• \n

  Previous cardiology or internal medicine experience is preferred but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

The potential base pay range for this position is $110,000-$120,000 annually.
