Our organization is in search of a skilled and forward-thinking Medical Director of Medical Oncology to spearhead the ongoing expansion and enhancement of our oncology services.

In the role of Medical Director, you will be instrumental in shaping clinical strategies, aiding in physician recruitment and retention, improving quality and program development, and ensuring outstanding patient-centered cancer care across our oncology network.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for the Medical Oncology program throughout our organization.
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to implement an ambitious oncology vision.
  • Enhance access to top-tier cancer care across Central Ohio.
  • Support initiatives for physician recruitment, mentorship, and retention.
  • Encourage seamless collaboration among multidisciplinary oncology teams.
  • Promote quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives.
  • Oversee clinical program development and growth strategies.
  • Drive innovation and service line development.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and evidence-based care delivery.
Clinical Practice
  • Maintain a fulfilling outpatient-focused clinical practice supported by a comprehensive, integrated care model, which includes:
  • An established referral network
  • Support from advanced practice providers
  • Nurse navigation, genetic counseling, and social work services
  • Financial navigation and survivorship programs
  • Palliative care and multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Integrated radiation oncology and advanced imaging/infusion services

Qualifications
  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
  • Eligibility for licensure in Ohio
  • A minimum of five years of oncology practice experience is preferred
  • Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred
