We are recruiting for a BOM & Item Master Controller to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of BOM and Item Master data, ensuring accuracy across planning, production and procurement.Details of a BOM & Item Master Controller Cheslyn Hay, WS6Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:15pmFriday, 8:00am - 12:00pm£33,000 - £38,000 per yearPermanentMonthly paidRoles of a BOM & Item Master Controller Create, maintain and control Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP systemMaintain Item Master data including planning parameters, lead times, costing and sourcing informationManage BOM revisions, versions, alternatives and engineering changesEnsure data accuracy across Engineering, Production, Procurement and FinanceSupport MRP planning by investigating and resolving data issuesImplement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in line with production schedulesCarry out data audits and continuous improvement activitiesWork closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing data standardsSupport the development of best practice for BOM and Item Master managementRequirements of a BOM & Item Master Controller Minimum of 3 years' experience within manufacturing engineering, planning or master dataPrevious experience managing Bills of Materials and Item Masters within an ERP systemExperience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be advantageousStrong understanding of MRP and manufacturing processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and analytical abilityStrong communication and organisational skillsBenefits of a BOM & Item Master Controller 25 days holiday plus Bank HolidaysAdditional day off for your birthday5% matched pensionUNUM Critical Illness InsuranceSimply Health Cash PlanDeath in Service (1x annual salary)Early finish every FridayPermanent opportunity with a growing engineering businessIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply todayTPBN1_UKTJ
