Want to come and be a part of it?What will you be doing?As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at M Group, youll play a critical role in ensuring robust commercial management across major infrastructure contracts. Youll take ownership of all commercial activities, including accurate valuations, cost reporting, and contract administration, working collaboratively with operational, finance, and procurement teams to manage risk, safeguard margins, and guarantee the integrity of commercial information. Youll also mentor junior colleagues, upholding consistent team standards.Your responsibilities span pre-contract supportassisting with tenders, supplier engagement, and defining contract termsto ongoing contract administration and valuation, ensuring compliant and timely processes. Youll validate cost data, manage accruals, and maintain relationships with supply chain partners, resolving issues early. In addition, youll ensure precise cost and financial reporting and lead ongoing risk and opportunity reviews. Youll maintain best-practice record keeping for all commercial documentation and support key performance and cost forecasts, regularly preparing and presenting contract value reports to clients and stakeholders. Your work will enable clear, accurate, and reliable commercial performance and drive successful project delivery.What youll bringYoull have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Mobile Telecoms, with strong NEC3 or NEC4 contract knowledge and excellent numerical and analytical skills. Confident with cost management, youre adept at using Excel and commercial systems, managing subcontractor relationships, and proactively identifying risks. You organise your workload effectively, pay genuine attention to detail, and always meet deadlines. A clear communicator and team player, you build positive relationships across functions.
