At Job&Talent, we are currently recruiting Concrete Casters for exciting opportunities at Unipart Logistics in Honeybourne, Evesham (WR11 8TS). This is a fantastic chance to join a busy manufacturing team producing high-quality precast concrete panels used in the construction of secure prison walls.Details:Salary: £17.00 per hourOvertime: Saturdays paid at £25.50Working Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00-16:00 and Friday 7:00-12:00Location: Shinehill Lane, South Littleton, Evesham WR11 8TSDuration: OngoingKey ResponsibilitiesPreparing moulds for concrete casting.Pouring, levelling and finishing concrete.Installing reinforcement and other components into moulds.Stripping moulds and safely removing finished concrete units.Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification.Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.Maintaining a clean and organised work area.Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations.Working collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily targets.Essential SkillsExperience working with concrete or in a manufacturing/production environment.Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and specifications.Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, casting and finishing techniques.Experience preparing, assembling and stripping moulds/formwork.Ability to use hand and power tools safely.Good attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards.Manual handling capability and willingness to undertake physically demanding work.Good numeracy skills for measuring materials and checking dimensions.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Reliable with a strong work ethic and good timekeeping.Desirable SkillsPrevious experience in precast concrete manufacturing.Experience using overhead cranes (with relevant certification).Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.Knowledge of reinforcement placement (rebar, mesh or cages).Experience carrying out minor maintenance on moulds and equipment.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement principles.Basic IT skills for recording production or quality checks.Benefits of working with us as a Concrete Caster:28 Holidays per yearWeekly PayPension SchemeMortgage referencesMy Extra Rewards- An online portal offering vouchers and discountsIf you are interested in the above role please click applyIf you are looking to contact our onsite team, please visit the site locator on our website.Job&Talent do NOT charge any fees for our services.Job&Talent acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.TPBN1_UKTJ
