Permanent Vacancy - GroundworkerOffice Location - KirkintillochWorking Monday - Friday 8am - 430pmSalary £31,200 DOEAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworker to support a variety of commercial, industrial and civil engineering projects across Central Scotland. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of groundworks activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesExcavation and preparation of sites for construction projects.Installation and maintenance of drainage systems, pipes, gullies and manholes.Kerbing, paving, slabbing and block paving works.Concrete works including foundations, slabs and reinforced structures.Trenching, ducting and backfilling operations.Ground preparation for surfacing and tarmac works.Operation of small plant and machinery where qualified.Adherence to all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.Candidate RequirementsPrevious groundworks or civil engineering experience.CSCS Card (essential).Good knowledge of drainage, foundations and paving works.Full UK Driving Licence preferred.Ability to read site drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.BenefitsCompetitive salary dependent on experience.Overtime opportunities.Company pension scheme.PPE and workwear provided.Training and development opportunities.Career progression within a growing business.If you have the skills and experience needed, please submit your CV and i'll come back to you.
